Every employee of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, after having worked for a minimum of 6 months, is entitled to additional annual remuneration. The amount of the “thirteen salary” is calculated proportionally to the number of months of work. The additional remuneration is paid at the beginning of a given calendar year.

As an employee of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, you can take advantage of benefits offered by the Social Benefits Fund (ZFŚS), such as financial assistance when you have a difficult life situation, allowances or housing loans.

In December, employees and their children are invited to the Santa Claus party, during which Santa Claus arrives at Wrocław University of Science and Technology and gives the children sweet gifts. The parents will receive additional benefits that will be transferred to their bank accounts.

As an employee of WUST, you can obtain a subsidy for your and your children’s holiday. The funds will be transferred to your account before the summer holidays.

They make it possible to use the sports offer of almost 4,000 facilities all over Poland and to practice 25 sports disciplines. Additional private health insurance is offered at WUST through a collaboration between ZZ Solidarność and Allianz Polska Życie S.A. It provides extended outpatient medical care, in particular a quick access to specialists in health care institutions.

In order to obtain the Electronic Employee Card (EKP), you should log in with your Wrocław University of Science and Technology e-mail account at:  https://ekp.pwr.edu.pl

Academic teachers employed at Wrocław University of Science and Technology may obtain the Electronic Card that entitles them to discounts on public transport. The right to a discount must be verified with the carrier each time before purchasing a ticket. The Card is issued at the request of an academic staff member. 

In order to obtain the card, one should:

- submit the application to the Secretariat of the Department of Human Affairs (A-1, p.105); the model application is attached as Appendix 1 to Internal Order ZW 87/2020,

- send a recent photo in jpg format to: elna@WUST.ed.pl

All employees, doctoral students and students of Wrocław University of Science and Technology are entitled to use all parking spaces in the car parks:

- at Hoene-Wrońskiego Street,

- near D-21, D-1, D-20 and L-1 (Geocentre I) buildings,

- by the Polinka station (WYbrzeże Wyspiańskiego 23).

The primary means of identifying you and your entitlement to access parking spaces is through your electronic student or employee card.

Polinka is the cable car of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. It connects the university’s Main Campus with the Campus “Na Grobli” on the other side of the Oder River. There are currently two carriages running over the Oder. It takes less than three minutes to get from one bank to the other. The cable car carries up to 370 passengers in each direction per hour. The carriage can accommodate 15 people at a time (10 seated and 5 standing).

With your Electronic Employee Card, you can use Polinka free of charge.

The “LIMBA” House of Creative Work of Wrocław University of Science and Technology has 13 rooms (33 places in 2, 3, 4-person rooms with washbasins), its own canteen and a TV room. The building is made of larch wood and is protected by the conservator. Summer and winter holidays, school and business excursions, work meetings and integration meetings are organised here. Individual overnight stays are also available.

Reservations for events and accommodation can be made directly (by telephone) with the House manager - phone 695 360 097, between 8.00 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Employees who enjoy movement, sport and competition can take advantage of leisure and sports activities prepared by SWFiS.
