In the Social Affairs and Recruitment  Section, we comprehensively support management in the implementation of recruitment processes. If the application we receive passes the selection process, we will invite you to a recruitment interview. During the interview, we will want to discuss your experience, learn about your development plans or verify your preparation to perform duties in a given position. After the interview, irrespective of decision, we will inform you on the outcome of the recruitment process.

Positive outcome of the recruitment process will be the first step towards employment at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. In the following days, the staff responsible for concluding employment contract will contact you to complete the formalities. On your part, it will be necessary to prepare original documents:

school diplomas, certificates of employment from previous employers.

Remember to have an occupational health examination before you start employment. As your future employer, we will cover the costs. You will need to have them done at a dedicated clinic, based on the referral you receive from us. You register for the examination yourself.

The clinic we work with is: Clinic at Łowiecka Street, 50-220 Wrocław. Registration for examinations is possible from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., at number: 71 711 74 97.

The first day of your employment at WUST will be different from the next days. If you are not given any other information, you will be invited at 7.30 a.m. to sign your employment contract and receive your employment card. Afterwards, you will have to participate in initial training - health and safety and job training.

We are keen to ensure that you have a smooth introduction to your new responsibilities and that you become familiar with the rules and regulations at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

We value the principle of work-life balance, which is why we work onsite from Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 3.30pm.

We will accompany you throughout your employment at WUST. You will find help with HR and payroll issues, professional development and social benefits. You can also find the information you need as an employee in your account in the TETA ME application; by means of this application you can:

  • create your annual leave plan and apply for leave;
  • check the amount of leave and the number of days you used;
  • find information on your remuneration;
  • find information on your absences;
  • gain electronic access to PIT 11 and RMUA.

As University, we support the development of our employees by providing training on general issues such as data protection, spreadsheets, soft skills, changes in the legal environment or updates on regulations that affect our work.

Remember that you can apply for funding from WUST to attend a language course or studies. Moreover, as an employee of the University you can also obtain funding for individual training related to enhancing your knowledge and competencies in your position.

December is a special month for us. Every year we organise the Santa Claus visit for the children of employees and pensioners. The Santa Claus event is accompanied with Christmas workshops, animations and small gifts.
